If you are the kind of person who can’t make up their minds on what to buy, is an impulse buyer, or who generally doesn’t like to shop, then Christmas time must be a nightmare for you.
Here are a few tips to shopping for Christmas…with less stress.
1. Make a list of people who you need to buy gifts for.
When one uses a list, they are usually more organized. After you buy a gift for a particular person, put a tick against their name. This will psyche you up and encourage you as you will feel you have gone one step ahead.
2. Write down exactly how much you are willing to spend on gifts.
It’s easy to run over your budget especially during the festive season when everything looks so pleasantly decorated and inviting. You don’t want to be recovering from debt when you can’t pay your bill after the Christmas shopping spree.
3. Ask a friend whose taste and fashion you trust to accompany you.
If it is hard for you to make choices on what to buy, you could ask a friend to accompany you so that you can compare notes. Remember to get someone who has similar tastes and preferences so that you can buy gifts which you both appreciate.
