Children always have a lot of energy and most of us are always running out of ideas on what to engage them in next. If you have been finding yourself in this kind of dilemma, here are four ways in which you and your kids can have some fun this Christmas holiday.
1. Try kids’ crafts
Children always love attention and they love when they are engaged in activities which make them feel useful and important. Studies have shown that ideas such as kids’ crafts stimulate the child’s brain activity, problem solving skills and also boost their self esteem.

2. Help them make gifts for grandparents.
Grandparents and their grandchildren usually have a very tight bond. It is exciting for the kids as they prepare presents for their grandparents. One can make a big deal out of this by telling the kids that it’s going to be a big secret.
You can help them buy or get an old but big enough picture frame. Then get an old family picture that you treasure and stick it on the frame together with whatever Christmas decorations that you choose.
Alternatively, you can help them make the more popular quit from old clothes of their choice and both the granny and the kids will find this a brilliant idea.
3. Help them make gifts for each other
You could also help the kids make gifts for each other secretly. This will keep them excited and they will be looking forward to Christmas day.
Help them come up with what the other sibling would love as a small present. This will help enhance a close bond between them and they will grow to appreciate each other and become better friends.
4. Take them outdoors
You can have loads of fun making a snow-man and you could even come up with a concept like the snow-mans family and you can make all these people and have a blast. You can also drive through the city or the neighborhood, watching all the Christmas decorations.
